The goal of the conference is to help teachers and students gain a better understanding of how emerging economies are becoming fundamental players in the world today and what changes they will bring. Additionally, the conference will focus on what the next generation of young people needs to know to be able to live and work successfully with more and increasingly varied economic players at the table.
Professors from a number of area colleges and universities including Mount Holyoke, Western New England University, Smith, and Trinity will lead a series of engaging sessions and panel discussions on key themes in these countries.
Open to the public, the conference offers a special focus for public and independent school educators and a number of their talented students.
