Megan Pehoviak '14 competes for West basketball at Bay State Games

The 2013 Bay State Games didn't go as Wilbraham & Monson Academy's Megan Pehoviak '14 had hoped, but the shooting guard still took a lot out of the experience.

Megan played a lot of minutes for the West's basketball team at the Bay State Games, which were held July 5-7 at the University of Massachusetts-Boston. Megan's best game came against Metro, where she scored 12 points in the loss. The West lost every game and failed to reach the medal round.

"Although our region didn't have the outcome we wanted, it was a great experience playing with extremely talented players from across the state," Megan said. "We only had six players for the five games, which made it really tough. But we worked hard and continued to compete."
