Jay Hamilton has played tennis since high school. He has captained and participated in USTA Team Tennis and has reached USTA National events six times. He joined the WMA program in 1994, replacing the retired former Headmaster, Richard Malley. In the off-season, Coach Hamilton teaches tennis at the Ludlow Tennis Club.
