by Paul Bloomfield, Fine & Performing Arts Chair
Binney Gallery September 3—21, 2009

The
work for this exhibit began over a year ago when I began to photograph
the grounds of Wilbraham & Monson Academy. My principal interest
was to communicate the dynamic and beautiful interaction of natural
forms and to remind the viewer of our precious environment. Throughout
the four seasons, I returned to various sites in Wilbraham to record
the ongoing engagement between weather, season, and flora. Paul's
daughter Zoe will also be showing some of her landscape photographs.
This
exhibit was open to the public for the month of July 2009 at the
Wilbraham Public Library, now the WMA community will be able to see the show
in Binney Art Gallery when school commences in September.
