Art Benefit for India nets $1000
Posted 01/11/2010 09:38AM
Nearly $1,000 in sales was generated through the Art Benefit for India. In March, Wilbraham & Monson Academy students will deliver the funds to the Salaam Baalak Trust in New Delhi, an organization committed to improving the social and economic wellbeing of Indian children through education.

Students from the Advanced Placement Studio Art & Grade 9 Global Studies classes created a gallery presentation designed to showcase student work and to raise awareness of issues confronting India's economically disadvantaged children. AP Studio Art students created original designs that send a message and are both attractive and affordable.
