
Nearly $1,000 in sales was
generated through the Art Benefit for India. In March, Wilbraham & Monson
Academy students will deliver the funds to the Salaam Baalak Trust in New
Delhi, an organization committed to improving the social and economic wellbeing
of Indian children through education.
Students from the Advanced
Placement Studio Art & Grade 9 Global Studies classes created a gallery
presentation designed to showcase student work and to raise awareness of issues
confronting India's economically disadvantaged children. AP Studio Art students
created original designs that send a message and are both attractive and
affordable.
