Approximately 30 WMA students participated in the AMC high school math competitions earlier this winter.  There were two levels.  The AMC 12 is for students in Grades 11 and 12 and the AMC 10 for students in Grades 9 and 10.  
YuanQing Vicky Liu '12 was the top scorer for WMA in the AMC 10 competition. Chang Leo Li '10 was the top scorer for WMA in the AMC 12 competition.  And Leo, Yifan Christy Jiang '12, and Di Andy Mu '10 were recognized by the competition organizers for their strong performance, having made AMC team member status.
