Athletic Facilities
The outstanding athletic facilities at WMA offer our student-athletes a competitive edge. Many of the fields have been upgraded in the past three years and plans are in place to continue this effort. The WMA Athletic Center houses two basketball/volleyball courts, Cowdrey Memorial Pool, the Jane McNamara Kelly Fitness Center, a dance/wrestling room, and locker rooms.

The turf field was completed in the fall of 2011. The field is host to WMA's football, field hockey, boys' lacrosse and girls' lacrosse. Also, the boys' soccer and girls' soccer programs use the turf when their grass fields aren't playable due to poor conditions, meaning few if any home contests are ever postponed. The area includes bathrooms and bleachers for spectators, as well as a lift for team video use.

A 10-court tennis facility was built in 2010, providing enough court time for both the boys' and girls' tennis programs. The area is enclosed by a tarped fence and includes parking.

Additional playing areas include the Phil Shaw Track & Field facility, five soccer/lacrosse/field hockey fields, a rifle range, football playing and practice fields, two baseball diamonds, and a softball diamond. Off-campus areas include ski meets at Berkshire East and golf practice and home matches at the Country Club of Wilbraham.
New baseball and softball fields for WMA's junior varsity programs will be added for the 2014 season.
