WMA Service Corps partners with the Springfield Vietnamese-American Civic Association
Mr. Lombard visited the Springfield Vietnamese-American Civic Association recently and confirmed that the SVACA should be a great service placement next fall.
While at the SVACA he was treated to an impromptu Vietnamese Lion Dance that is part of the upcoming Vietnamese lunar celebrations.
The WMA Service Corps volunteers will help tutor SVACA students ranging in age from seven to 13 years old in a variety of subjects in their after school program. Executive Director Maly Son said she was excited to have the Service Corps work with her 30 students.
There is one slot available on the Service Corps team. Students interested in volunteering this fall with the Service Corps, should email Mr. Lombard.
