7 WMA students featured in The Republican's Talented Teens in the Arts
How talented are some of the students at Wilbraham & Monson Academy?
Apparently very.
Seven students who attended WMA during the 2011-12 school year were recognized in The Republican Newspaper's Talented Teens in the Arts section Tuesday.
Featured in the annual publication were Gillian Callahan '12 (art), Hyun Jung Ji '12 (art), Stephanie Reeves '12 (dance), Matthew Robbins '12 (music), Yi Jia Chen '12 (music), Nicholas Jalbert '12 (drama) and Issa Best '13 (drama).
“I have always admired the creative spirit of our students as they use the arts as a means of personal expression,” Head of School Rodney LaBrecque said. “Giving not only these specially identified students, but all students, many outlets for creativity is one of the hallmarks of the Academy program of study.”
The 2012 Talented Teens section featured 94 students from Greater Springfield.
