The Titans beat Kingswood Oxford 14-7 Wednesday to clinch a spot in the WNESSLA Tournament.

Event Recap:
The Girls Varsity Volleyball team improved to 3-1 with a solid win over Class B Kingswood-Oxford.  
Set 1 had K-O dominating for most of the set.  But the Titans fought their way back into the set on strong serving by Lucy Wang (11pts on the day) and Michaela Fortin (9 points).  The Titans went on to win 25-23.  Carla Dippe was strong at the net with 2 hits and 2 kills.
Set 2 started as a battle between two evenly matched teams until K-O ran into rotation issues.  They lost a point, and serve and never fully regained their composure on the court.  The Titans took advantage of the situation and again Lucy and Michaela were the serving force to bring home the win.  McKenzie Trevallion and Anna McCartney were strong defense at the net and again Carla Dippe provide the offense with 3 hits and 2 kills.  Final Score 25-20
Again in set 3, K-O could not find their groove.  Bailey Geise opened the set with a 7 point run.  While K-O got within 3 they never fully got the momentum to make it a true competition.  Set 3 highlight, a roof by Anna McCartney to win the set and match.  Final score 25-13.

The team travels to Worcester Academy on Wednesday for the first match up of the season.
