Greenhalgh Gymnsium

Built in 1952 and named in honor of George T. Greenhalgh, Greenhalgh Gymnasium is a historic and versatile athletic facility that has been thoughtfully updated to meet the needs of today’s events and competitions.

Following a major renovation in 2024, the gymnasium features upgraded lighting, a modern sound system, updated Academy branding, a redesigned center court and new spectator bleachers.

The facility offers two full basketball/volleyball courts, a batting cage, providing flexibility for tournaments, athletic competitions, camps, clinics, practices and other large group events.

One of the gymnasium’s most distinctive features is “Mount Olympus,” the Academy’s student section located on a second-floor balcony overlooking the end line of the main court. This unique viewing area adds energy and character to the facility while creating an exciting atmosphere for competitions and special events.

Whether hosting a tournament, athletic camp, team training session or community event, Greenhalgh Gymnasium offers a flexible and well-equipped venue with a unique blend of history, modern amenities and school spirit.

Constructed in the fall of 2025, Wilbraham & Monson Academy’s Ropes Challenge Course offers an exciting and immersive outdoor team-building experience set within the Academy’s beautiful wooded campus. Surrounded by forest, the course provides a unique natural setting where participants can step away from the traditional classroom or workplace and engage with their team in an environment designed to encourage challenge, exploration and connection.

The course features a combination of high and low ropes elements, along with a 40-foot climbing tower, providing opportunities for participants of varying experience levels to challenge themselves and work together. From navigating low elements as a team to taking on the heights of the climbing tower, participants are encouraged to step outside their comfort zones while supporting and relying on one another.

Designed to develop leadership, trust, communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills, each experience is facilitated by certified instructors and tailored to the goals, size and experience level of each group.

The Ropes Challenge Course is an ideal setting for corporate retreats, school groups, athletic teams, leadership programs and team-building events. With its combination of professionally facilitated activities, challenging elements and peaceful forest surroundings, the course provides a memorable experience that brings groups together and creates lasting connections.

Rudy & Margie Fisher Tennnis Courts

The Rudy & Margie Fisher Tennis Courts provide an outstanding setting for tennis instruction, practices, tournaments and recreational play. Featuring eight active courts, the facility offers ample space for individual groups, team practices, clinics and larger tennis events.

The courts are fully enclosed with a tarped perimeter fence, providing privacy and a comfortable playing environment. Convenient on-site parking adds to the accessibility and ease of hosting events for players, coaches and spectators.

Named in honor of Rudy and Margie Fisher in 2014, the courts are an important part of Wilbraham & Monson Academy’s athletic facilities and reflect the Academy’s commitment to providing quality spaces for athletic development and community engagement.

Whether hosting tennis lessons, team practices, youth clinics, recreational play or a tournament, the Rudy & Margie Fisher Tennis Courts offer a flexible and welcoming venue for players of all ages and ability levels.

Turf Field

Wilbraham & Monson Academy’s synthetic Turf Field provides a durable, versatile and professionally maintained surface for a wide range of athletic events and activities. Designed to support consistent play in a variety of weather conditions, the field offers organizations a reliable venue for practices, competitions, tournaments, camps and team events.

With full field maintenance provided, renters can focus on their athletes and event experience while the Academy maintains the facility to a high standard. The synthetic surface is well suited for organizations seeking a dependable playing environment for both short-term events and extended athletic programs.

Located on the Academy’s beautiful 400-acre campus, the Turf Field provides a spacious and professional setting for teams and organizations of all levels. Whether hosting a tournament, conducting preseason practices, running a youth sports camp or organizing a team event, the Turf Field offers the flexibility and reliability needed to support a successful program.

Ferry Field

Ferry Baseball Field at Wilbraham & Monson Academy provides a premier setting for competitive baseball, offering a regulation 90-foot diamond designed to accommodate players and teams from the amateur level through collegiate competition.

The field features two dedicated dugouts and bullpen areas, providing teams with the essential infrastructure needed for practices and game-day competition. A full tunnel batting cage adds additional flexibility, allowing teams to warm up, conduct batting practice and prepare for competition without disrupting activity on the field.

Corbin Fields

Corbin Fields at Wilbraham & Monson Academy offers a spacious and versatile outdoor setting for large-scale events, gatherings, and celebrations. Located within WMA’s beautiful 400-acre campus, the expansive grass fields provide ample room for organizations to create a customized event environment surrounded by the natural beauty of the Wilbraham landscape.

One of the most distinctive features of Corbin Fields is its beautiful backdrop of the Wilbraham mountains. The scenic views provide a memorable setting for guests and create a picturesque atmosphere for outdoor celebrations, receptions, festivals, and community gatherings.

The open layout of Corbin Fields makes the space particularly well suited for events utilizing large tents or canopies. Designed to provide a comfortable and inviting environment, the Boardroom is well suited for corporate meetings, executive retreats, leadership sessions, workshops, planning meetings and private gatherings. Multipurpose Room

Located within the Athletic Center, this multipurpose room is a spacious and versatile multipurpose facility that can be configured for a wide range of events and activities. Regularly used as a dance studio and wrestling room, the space can also accommodate receptions, workshops, team activities, clinics and other special events.

The room features a full wall of mirrors, large windows overlooking Wilbraham & Monson Academy’s scenic grounds and athletic fields, and access to a private deck offering beautiful views of Crystal Pond. The combination of natural light, flexible open space, and scenic surroundings creates a unique and inviting atmosphere for both active and social gatherings.

Griffin Athenaeum

Built in 2022, the Griffin Athenaeum is a 5,500-square-foot library and community space designed to foster connection, collaboration and learning. Dedicated in memory of William A. Griffin ’68W, the Athenaeum provides a modern, welcoming, and versatile setting for a wide range of academic, professional and community events.

Thoughtfully designed for collaboration and engagement, the space is ideal for meetings, workshops, presentations, conferences, educational programs and community gatherings. Its flexible layout allows the space to be adapted to meet the unique needs of each event.

Located within LaCrosse Community Commons, the Griffin Athenaeum is part of a dynamic campus destination offering a variety of complementary spaces and amenities. With its contemporary design, flexible configuration and inviting atmosphere, the Athenaeum is an excellent venue for organizations and groups seeking a distinctive and modern setting for their next event.

Jacobs Dining Room

Located in LaCrosse Community Commons, our historic 1860 Memorial Chapel, a cornerstone of Wilbraham & Monson Academy’s campus, has been transformed into a stunning new Dining Commons. Attached to Griffin Athenaeum, the facility features a modern kitchen and servery while preserving its architectural beauty, including numerous stained-glass windows and natural light from overhead skylights. With seating capacity for up to 200 guests, Jacobs Dining Room is available for parties, receptions, weddings and other special events.

Gill Memorial Hall

An intimate dining space located inside LaCrosse Community Commons. This hall was once Gill Library that was inside the historic 1860 Memorial Chapel. With the renovations completed in the summer of 2026, Gill Memorial Hall is now the perfect space for intimate gatherings. It is adjacent to the Jacobs Dining Room but can be separated by pocket doors to allow for privacy.

Campus Center

The Campus Center at Wilbraham & Monson Academy provides a welcoming and versatile social and recreational space for meetings, gatherings, informational sessions, and informal events. Designed to encourage conversation and connection, the open layout offers a comfortable environment for groups of a variety of sizes.

The space features a wall of windows that fills the room with natural light, along with a variety of seating areas, benches, and two pool tables that create a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. Its flexible design makes it easy to accommodate both structured programming and casual social activities.

The Campus Center also provides direct access to The Levy Courtyard, a beautiful outdoor gathering space dedicated in memory of Richard “Dick” Levy, a longtime Dorm Head and Mathematics Teacher at the Academy. The connection between the indoor and outdoor spaces provides additional flexibility for events and gatherings, allowing groups to utilize both areas as part of their experience.

The Campus Center is also an excellent setting for holiday parties, company celebrations, end-of-year gatherings and community events. Its comfortable atmosphere and flexible layout make it easy to create a festive and welcoming environment for guests, while the adjacent Levy Courtyard provides additional space for mingling and activities.

Founders Theatre

Located on the second floor of Wilbraham & Monson Academy’s historic Fisk Building, the Black Box Theater offers an intimate and flexible setting designed to put the focus where it belongs: on the performance and the performers.

True to its name, the theater provides a more intimate experience than a traditional auditorium, making it particularly well suited for productions with limited seating, theatrical performances, student showcases, readings, presentations and other small-scale events. Its setting creates a close connection between performers and audience, allowing guests to experience productions in a more personal and engaging environment.

Housed within one of the Academy’s historic campus buildings, the Black Box Theater combines the character of Fisk Building with the versatility of a dedicated performance space. It is an excellent venue for organizations, performers and groups seeking a distinctive setting for an intimate theatrical or community event.

Dance Room

Located in the Athletic Center, this flexible-use space serves as a dance studio, wrestling room and is great for event space. The room features windows overlooking WMA’s grounds and sports fields, a wall of mirrors and a deck with a beautiful view of Crystal Pond.
