About

Wilbraham & Monson Academy  is ...

WMA is an independent, college-preparatory, coeducational middle and upper school for boarding and day students. Located in Wilbraham, Massachusetts, our student body of 400 students represents 34 countries.

Our academic program, which offers 24 Advanced Placement courses and various honors tracks, aims to create global thinkers by offering a curriculum that integrates the mastery of traditional core disciplines while also incorporating courses specific to our Center for Entrepreneurship, Economics & Finance and our financial Trading Center. In addition, our new 5,000-square-foot state-of-the-art iLab opened for the 2021-2022 school year and a $6.2 million Athenaeum library opened in 2020.

Outside of the classroom, students have the opportunity to engage in more than 30 competitive, recreational or civic activities in our Athletics & Afternoon programming. We create future leaders, who investigate opportunities for intellectual growth, integrate by seeking intercultural connections, and innovate by practicing critical reasoning and entrepreneurial thinking.
