Online Distance Learning
As we move through these uncharted times, we want to let you know that we have been working hard to formulate, establish and plan for our transition to Online Distance Learning (ODL) for the WMA community.
Many of our live/synchronous classes will be done using the application Zoom. Students do NOT need to have a Zoom account. They will receive a link each day for the classes that are to take place. Families can have free access to Zoom and we recommend that everyone try the software by having practice “meetings” with family and friends.
Much of the student’s work will be handled through the existing Google Classroom, to which students already have access, and through the online versions of textbooks for some classes. We encourage families to make sure that those tools are working smoothly. If parents are unfamiliar with how it works, have your student explain it to you. If these things are not working, please communicate with WMA via your child’s advisor or teacher.
