Program Overview

The Wilbraham & Monson Academy Cross Country team is a collection of new and returning members of varying abilities with a love for running. As a whole, we are a very competitive group. As a NEPSTA Division III member, our team competes in several large invitationals and smaller dual and tri-meets. The culmination of the season is the final race at the New England championships. WMA’s beautiful landscape provides us with varied terrain for practice. Our wooded trails and sprawling fields and mountains create excellent routes for practices in addition to our newly built track. We look forward to our upcoming seasons. Go Titans!

Philosophy

The main goal of Wilbraham & Monson Academy’s cross country team is to grow as runners and athletes. We practice and race as an entire team, but during every workout and competition, team members are given individualized goals to meet. This gives us the opportunity to develop strength and endurance at appropriate levels for both new and experienced runners. As our athletes train each week to improve in every race, our individual efforts combine to create a very fun and competitive cross country team.
