Program Overview
Wilbraham & Monson Academy track has a long history of success. In recent years we have had winning seasons, school records broken and have won or placed in the top 3 in events at New England Championships. Our team in 2019 was awarded the Wilbraham & Monson Trustees Cup. This prestigious award goes to one team at the end of the year that has a winning season, a high GPA and partakes in community service.
Our program has a large number of our alumni compete at the college level, including Princeton, North Carolina State, Sacred Heart, Tufts and Colby.
Our philosophy is to train mentally and physically; not only do we have to have the physical talent, but we have to have the mental ability to challenge that talent and rise above. Our facilities - a newly surfaced track with updated field event and track equipment, including a full weight room which we train in regularly - are top notch. Our coaching staff covers every event with great depth and knowledge gained from years of experience and staying updated with annual track clinics.
