Program Overview

The Wilbraham & Monson Academy football program has a long and proud tradition. There is a place for both beginning and experienced players in our program as we offer football at both the varsity and junior varsity level.

In 2023, WMA began transition to an 8-player football program. The Titans have been accepted into the 8-man league (among New England boarding schools) and will compete with a full schedule in 2024.

This was a decision made after a thorough review of all aspects of the football program and the goals of our afternoon programming. After much discussion and analysis, we believe with certainty that this is the right choice for WMA and our students.

Our program will continue to allow students the opportunity to participate in a sport uniquely suited to developing certain important traits in young people, among them discipline, teamwork, perseverance and courage.
