Program Overview

Swimming at Wilbraham & Monson Academy is a highly competitive sport that supports the needs of competitive swimmers of varied backgrounds, from experienced club swimmers to first year competitive swimmers. WMA has a robust middle school swimming program that regularly produces some of the Academy's top performers. Over the past three years, the Titans have averaged about 30 participants in swimming at the varsity level. WMA is able to cater to the needs of each individual by rotating groups of swimmers through practice based on a combination of age and ability. The result is a highly specified program, where both new swimmers and highly experienced swimmers can and do improve.

Every member of the varsity team practices for a minimum of an hour-and-a-half a day, while our most experienced members can take advantage of morning lap swims and longer afternoon workouts. Over the last four years we have repeatedly produced swimmers who competed at the highest level of New England Swimming.
