Winter Track
Program Overview
The Winter Track program has been a big part of the history of Wilbraham & Monson Academy. There was for many years an outdoor, banked wooden 200-meter track behind Smith Hall. The indoor program was revitalized by Coach Paul Ekness in 2004 and grew over the next five years to become a varsity program in 2009.
The WMA philosophy is to encourage all athletes to find a part of the track program where they can experience success. Success is not measured by wins at a meet but by growth and improvement over the course of the season.
