MS Robotics

The MS Lego Robotics program combines the joy of creative thinking, Lego construction and problem-solving with the challenge of competition - then adds a fair bit of perspiration, desperation and inspiration!

How, you ask?

Our young engineers take a box of Legos, sensors and programmable motors, then build a robot capable of accomplishing a variety of tasks in a limited amount of time, all the while preparing for and overcoming life's unforeseen challenges. Add to that scientific research, writing, public presentation and the highs and lows of working as a team, and what seems simple on the surface quickly becomes an awesome, exhilarating, complex and sweaty-palmed challenge like no other.

All this takes place on campus, in a new 5,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art iLab.

Oh, and we have multiple regional and state-level awards to proudly display and we have national competition experience.
