WMA Named Best Private School
Despite being in the worst pandemic the United States has seen in more than 100 years, there is no lack of support for Wilbraham & Monson Academy.
In fact, the faith and trust the WMA community has in the school has never been more apparent.
For the sixth year in a row, the Academy has been named the region’s Best Private School by Reader Raves.
“Six years start to feel like a real thing,” Head of School Brian Easler said. “Every year we’ve been honored that our parents and everyone in the WMA community recognizes us as the best school in the Pioneer Valley. But to have a trend like this – of six years – makes it even more meaningful.”
More meaningful in large part due to the world’s current situation, which is going on its eighth month. Despite the obstacles, both known and unknown, WMA has persevered, fully dedicating itself to safely opening for the 2020-21 school year.
“This year, more than any other, I feel like we deserved the award,” Mr. Easler continued. “I believe, of all the schools I know about, I don’t know of any other that’s more prepared than we are. That’s a 100 percent testament to the faculty, staff, administration and Board of Trustees. So many people have made this happen, and that’s why this year, more than any other year, we earned it.”
Voting for the annual contest was held June 7 – Aug. 2.
