Date: April 14, 2012
Result:Tie
Score:11 -11
Event Recap:
The Titans played Hamden Hall to a thrilling draw this Saturday at home.  This nail-biter saw several changes in lead and plenty of action.  The game was closely contested, with Hamden Hall leading at the half 4-3.  The Titans made some big defensive stops and slowly wore down the opponent's defense.  With under two minutes to play, the Titans regained the lead off of a goal by Carly Cronin '13.  However, the Titans were unable to possess the ball and run down the clock.  Hamden Hall secured a free position shot with seconds left in the game, but Marissa McDermott came up with a huge save.  With 2.2 seconds left, Hamden Hall fed the ball from behind the net to knock in a last-second equalizer.

Julia Bell '12 led the Titans' offense with 7 goals.  Carly Cronin '13 registered 3, and Julia Winer '14 registered 1.  Marissa McDermott '12 made 10 saves.  The Titans next face Miss Hall's on Wednesday at home.
