Culture Club

Advisor: Paul Bloomfield 

This group is for students who want to experience increased cultural opportunities on and off campus. 

Esports/computer gaming club

Advisor: Mr. Dezieck

The group meets to play a variety of electronic games on different platforms. 

Finance Society

Advisor: Mr. Irzyk

A financial research and management group, that focuses on creating an effective and strategic investment portfolio.

Global Women's Group

Advisors: Mrs. Hutcheson and Ms. Lowry-Brook

This coed group hopes to raise awareness of women's issues across the world. Members will participate in documentary screenings, lectures, fundraising, and other events. 

Human Rights & Equality (H.R.E.) (formerly R.I.S.E. & S.O.A.R.)

Advisor: Ms. Levheim

This group seeks to foster acceptance and equlaity between different races, ethnicities, creeds, religions, genders, sexualities, and so on, while promoting discussion and awareness about those issues. 

Science! 

Advisor: Mr. Dezieck

A discussion-based club that covers a wide range of scientific topics in an informal manner to encourage academic studies and overall interest in science. 

WMAcapella 

Advisor: Mr. Wheeler 

An a capella performance group. One performance per year. 

WMA's Got Talent

Advisor: Mr. Wheeler 

A group that aims to showcase Academy talent, both students and faculty. One to two showcases per year.

Advisor: Ms. Decker

Help capture the year's memories.

News

At school meeting, Ambassador Prosper encouraged WMA students to make a difference in the world.
Jeff will be performing original songs along with a presentation by current WMA students.
Garfield Ding '14 and Kirill Gudkon '14, who will attend Trinity next school year, spoke glowingly of the lecture given by Trinity Professor Xiangming Chen.
Coach Mannix will coach a team at the Mary Kline Classic in May.
Mikey put in a fence at a cemetery in his hometown to earn his Eagle Scout Award.
