Planned Giving

Members of the Academy's Heritage Society , who remember the Academy in their wills or estate plans, enjoy the satisfaction of knowing that, through their planning and thoughtfulness, WMA will be preserved for many generations to come. We invite you to join them. Your membership will also serve as a source of inspiration and encouragement for others who might consider making similar gifts.

Would you like to leave a legacy to the Academy that will endure after your lifetime?  Creating an endowed fund or leaving a bequest to the Academy are two ways you can provide for WMA beyond your lifetime.  Two other ways are designating the Academy as a beneficiary of a life-insurance policy or mutual fund and transferring real estate or property to the Academy.

Would you like to make a gift to the Academy and get something back for you or your loved ones in return? The Academy has several options that are a great investment in the future of WMA and will provide income or tax benefits to you or your family.

Advice from legal and tax counsel should be sought when considering a charitable gift plan of any kind. To ensure that your intentions are carried out as you desire, wills, codicils, and trusts should be prepared by your attorney.

If you need additional information about planning a gift or bequest to Wilbraham & Monson, contact Christina Cronin, CFRE, Director of Major Gifts and Campaign Coordinator, ccronin@WMA.us or 413.596.9189
