Rideshare Policy
Any parent who wishes for their child to be allowed to use a rideshare service in accordance with WMA policy must complete the Rideshare Permission Form. The form must be on file in the Deans Office before a student will be allowed to use this service. The permission form can be found in our password-protected Parent Portal at www.wma.us/parents. Once such permission is received, any student who is using such service and is being picked up on campus must notify their Dorm Parent or the Administrator on Duty (AOD). Drivers should be instructed to pick students up outside of their dorms: Rich Hall, Smith Hall and Wallace Blake.

Upper School Boarding Students Only
As of Dec. 2023, our policy regarding rideshares (Student/Parent Handbook - under F. Transportation, page 98) has been changed to reflect Uber’s newly revised rules for underage riders.
In accordance with Uber's new "junior accounts," WMA will allow Upper School students only from ages 13-17 with registered Junior Uber accounts to use the service for transportation purposes on weekends, and for travel leaving and returning during school vacations. Middle School students will not be eligible.
The permission form can be found on the password-protected Parent Portal at www.wma.us/parents. The signed form must be on file in the Deans Office before a student will be allowed to use this service.
