Summer Camp 2021
Information coming soon for 2021 offerings ...
For more than two centuries, Wilbraham & Monson Academy has been dedicated to transforming lives. Students and teachers from throughout the United States and around the world live and learn in a caring and supportive community enriched by a 200-year heritage of inclusion.
Our summer programs are taught by WMA teachers who love to teach, while WMA students and young alumni lead activities.
They are all passionate about what they do and want to make a difference in the world. Your classmates are kids who, like you, really want to learn. The experience is a first step to making lifelong friends and creating a global network of people who will know you and care about you for life.
There are three distinct sections in the WMA Summer Program. Our youngest campers are the Beech Tree ‘Littles’ (ages 5 – 8) and ‘Bigs’ (ages 9 - 12) enjoy a traditional day camp with field and pool time, creative activities, hands-on tinkering and group interactions that help form friendships.
The WMA Summer ESL program strives to improve the attendees’ English skills as defined by the American Council on Teaching Foreign Languages for the Acquisition of a Superior level of Academic English Language Proficiency. Students will be tested and placed in competency appropriate classes for their ESL Lab period. And finally, workshops are offered in the morning and afternoon, which will allow campers to work with other summer program participants from the United States and around the world.
